Coach Salieri “Sully” Allen

Edinboro Wrestler | High School State Medalist | Pennsylvania‑Native

Coach Sully Allen brings strong competitive experience, Pennsylvania grit, and technical insight to Gold Schopp Wrestling. A native of Sharon, Pennsylvania, Sully wrestled four varsity seasons at Sharon High School, posting an impressive 129–29 record, with 51 falls. He was a three‑time sectional, two‑time regional, and one-time district champion, a consistent district placer, and earned a state medal in PIAA competition—culminating in a standout senior season with a regional championship.

Sully continued his wrestling journey at Edinboro University, competing primarily at 157 lb and earning a role on the roster across multiple seasons. In Edinboro’s nationally competitive program, he practiced and trained among elite talent and was a reliable contributor in both duals and open tournaments  .

Since graduating, Coach Allen has transitioned into mentorship and coaching full-time. Though still early in his post-competitive career, he brings dedication and relatability to every session, helping young wrestlers build fundamentals and confidence.

At Gold Schopp Wrestling, Sully’s strengths shine in his leadership, communication, and ability to connect with athletes across Ohio and PA. He’s committed to helping every wrestler develop technically, stay engaged in the sport, and grow mentally and physically over time.
